第十八届高校国际汉语教学研讨会暨2020 年英国汉语教学研究会年会征文通知(一号)

英国汉语教学研究会是英国大学汉语教师的非营利性学术组织,其主要职能是帮助英国高校汉语教师提高汉语作为第二语言(或外语)的教学水平和科研能力。自1997 年在牛津大学创办以来,英国汉语教学研究会一直在引领英国汉语教学的潮流和 方向。该学会的主要作用是致力于提高汉语作为高等教育中外语教育教学的质量,并促进对国际汉语教育的研究。此外,它还为世界各地的汉语教师提供了交流机会。目前,英国汉语教学研究会拥有来自近50所英国大学和学院的约100名个人会员,以及数名集体会员(英国大学内的孔子学院)。近年来,英国汉语教学研究会在领导英国汉语教学和研究中发挥着越来越积极的作用。在2019年与兰开斯特大学孔子学院联合举办的第17届国际年会取得巨大成功之后,现在我们高兴地宣布:第 18 届英国高校汉语教学研讨会暨 2020 年英国汉语教学研究会年会开始征集稿件!本次大会将于 2020 年 6月29- 7月1日在英国班戈大学举办。本届会议主题为“5G时代的国际汉语教学和研究”。诚邀大家踊跃投稿!本次研讨会将由英国汉语教学研究会主办,班戈大学孔子学院承办/协办。会议日期为2020年6月29日至7月1日。
班戈大学位于英国北威尔士的海边,成立于1884年,素有注重科研的传统。根据2014年英国研究卓越框架显示,班戈大学的科研在英国排名在前40位。班戈大学孔子学院不仅仅得益于班戈丰富的科研与专家力量,而且也得益于其国际合作伙伴,北京的中国政法大学。班戈孔院非常荣幸能在班戈大学承办如此高水平的会议。
本次大会采取主旨发言、主题论坛、小组讨论、工作坊、海报展示等多种形式,希望就“5G时代的国际汉语教学和研究”展开深入探讨,畅论全球新的环境下的汉语教学和研究新说。我们诚挚地邀请来自世界各地相关领域的专家学者和业内教师齐聚英伦,共襄盛举,广泛辩论,分享信息,共图大业。我们相信此次会议的召开将进一步推动汉语教学在全球范围内的深入发展。会议主旨发言人相关信息稍后将在第二稿中发出。

会议摘要与论文
论文摘要可用中文或英文撰写。摘要内容包括400个汉字或260个英文单词,3-5 个关键词,作者姓名、任职机构和电子邮箱。
本次会议采用会议发言或海报展示两种形式。论文作者在提交论文时可以注明自己倾向于某种方式,作者亦可注明本人倾向于在哪个分议题下进行展示或讨论。如果是会议发言, 每篇论文的发言时长为20分钟,另有5分钟的问答与讨论; 如果是海报展示,大会将提供海报展示和答疑时间,海报可以在整个大会期间张贴。

本次大会秉承自愿投稿、匿名评审的原则,会后本执委会将邀请作者提交论文全文,根据不同主题择优编辑成集正式出版。本次大会开始设立最佳论文奖,从本日起到2020年9月30号之间提交论文全文的可以有资格参加优秀论文评选活动, 获奖者将在第二年(2021年)的开幕式上宣布。

The British Chinese Language Teaching Society (BCLTS www.bclts.org.ac.uk ) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1997 as the academic society for Chinese language teachers and researchers from the UK universities. It is a sub-group of the British Association for Chinese Studies (BACs). The primary role of the Society is to work to enhance the quality of teaching of Chinese as a second/foreign language in Higher Education level and to promote research into international Chinese language education. In addition, it offers networking opportunities to Chinese language teachers all over the world. Currently, the BCLTS has around 100 individual members from nearly 50 UK universities and colleges, together with several institute members (Confucius institutes at different UK universities). In recent years, the BCLTS has been playing more and more active role in leading the British Chinese language teaching and research. After last year’s great success of our annual conference in conjunction with the Lancaster University Confucius Institute, we are very pleased to announce that the 18th International Conference of BCLTS, with the theme of Teaching Chinese as an International Language in the 5G Era is open for the submission of paper abstracts and workshop proposals now. The 18th International Annual Conference of BCLTS will be hosted and co-organized by the Confucius Institute at Bangor University from 29th June to 1st July 2020.
Founded in 1884 and located at the seaside of North Wales, Bangor University has a long tradition of academic excellence and is ranked in the top 40 in the UK for research, according to the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. The Confucius Institute at Bangor University benefits not only from the wealth of academic excellence and expertise at Bangor but also from that of its international partner, China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing. The Confucius Institute is very proud to host and co-organise such a high-level conference at Bangor University.
The same as last year, we invite submission of papers both for conference Oral Presentation and for Poster Presentation. In addition, we also welcome workshop proposals of either half-hour or 50 minutes, which will cater to the needs of pedagogical practice in the field of TCFL. We warmly welcome practitioners, teachers and scholars from within and outside Chinese studies, culture studies, translation studies, Chinese linguistics and language teaching, to exhibit and share your knowledge, expertise, research and even experience to give guidance to the practice of teaching and learning Chinese as an international language. The conference will utilise various methods such as presentations, forums, workshops, group and panel discussions as well as posters. The details of our confirmed keynote speakers will be sent out shortly.

The working languages of the conference will be English and Chinese. You can indicate your preference in presenting your paper: conference Oral Presentations or Poster Presentations.
If accepted, individual Oral Presentation papers will be allotted 20 minutes (plus 5 minutes discussion) while the Poster Presentation can be displayed during the whole conference time.
Full paper submission is encouraged before the conference and are entitled to enter the Excellent paper award competition. Papers will also be invited after the conference to be peer-reviewed and published in the conference proceedings.

From this year onwards, the BCLTS will start the Best Paper Prize. Anyone submit the whole paper to our conference proceedings before 30th September 2020 will be eligible to enter the prize competition. We will organise the peers' review, and the winners will be announced during the opening ceremony of the conference in the year after (i.e.2021) . You are very welcome to participate in it.
